This guide is intended to help journal members with their research and sourcing tasks.
If there is something beyond this guide that you would like help with, there are four ways you can get in contact with a librarian:
1. In-person. Ask to speak with a reference librarian at the circulation desk during our reference hours. One of our reference librarians will be happy to meet with you.
2. Online chat. On any library web page (including this one), click the chat box on the bottom right to chat with one of our reference librarians. Live online chat is available during our reference hours.
3. Submit a question. If you want to ask a question but don't need immediate feedback, you can submit a question to our librarians and one will get back to you as soon as possible.
4. By appointment. Schedule a research consultation with a reference librarian at a time convenient for you. You can schedule an in-person appointment or schedule a virtual appointment.
While all of our librarians are able and happy to help you, we do have a few subject matter experts that may be helpful for journal students working on articles related to specific topics:
Business & Tax Law: Chris Dykes
Health Law: Emily Lawson
Foreign & International Law: Alyson Drake
The Library will host periodical write-in events for people who want a set space and time to write with people on hand to help.
The events will be held in the fourth floor library at 1-4pm on
RSVP here so we can get a head count for food, though we welcome you even if you don't RSVP.
