Printing

Library printers are located on the 4th floor in the student print room to the right of the circulation desk and on the 5th floor near the entrance to the law journal suite. Printers are also available on the building's 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors.

Printers are restricted to the Law Center community and require a Cougar Card to operate. To print, users must either upload their print jobs to the My Print Center website or download the UH Law Printer Drivers. More information about printing is available on the Law IT website.

If a printer is out of paper or toner, let Law IT know by visiting the Help Desk on the 3rd floor or by submitting an online request.

Self-Checkout

Self-checkout stations are located on the 4th and 5th floors of the library near the entrances. You can use the stations to check materials in or out with your Cougar Card. Please note that some library materials cannot be checked out and must stay in the library.

Scanning

Book scanners are located on the 4th floor in the student print room to the right of the circulation desk and on the 5th floor near the entrance to the law journal suite.

The scanners are available at no cost. Scans can be emailed, uploaded to cloud storage, or saved to a USB drive. Please limit scans to 50 pages at a time, as large files may not send properly. If you need assistance, the staff at the Library's circulation desk can help.

Document Delivery

UHLC students, faculty, and staff may request scans of articles or book chapters through document delivery.  Requests for digital document delivery can be submitted via Microsoft Teams. You may submit your request at any time, but please note that the library actively processes requests from 9 am-4 pm on weekdays. If approved, you can expect to receive your request within one business day. To ensure acceptance of your request, please provide all relevant information from the catalog.
